Cauvery College of Physiotherapy was established in the year 2017 with a yearly intake of 60 students and is affliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and recognized by Government of Karnataka. Majority of clinical training facility to our students provided by parent hospital – Cauvery Heart & Multi-speciality hospital, with a state-of-the-art facility ranging from diagnostic, therapeutic & Preventive medicine facility. Additional exposure at Medcure Diagnostics & Polyclinic, Jayadeva institute of Cardiovascular Science & Research centre, PKTB Sanatorium Hospital, Mysore Medical College etc. Apart from imparting quality education and clinical training, we encourage our students to participate in paper presentations, sports, yoga and cultural activities to enrich their mind, body and soul. We often do community services to the mankind. This profession moulds an individual to be a skillful physiotherapist with an in-depth knowledge to assess, diagnose, and treat, to maintain health for all ages.
Our Courses
Bachelor of Physiotherapy
- The course will provide students with a variety of innovative learning experiences that reflect current and emerging practices in physiotherapy and education.
- The course will provide students with a rich academic and clinical educational foundation that enables them to safely practice within the professional, legal and ethical framework of physiotherapy practice.
- The course will provide students with the skills to acquire, interpret, and apply the best available evidence in the provision of physiotherapy services.
- The course will foster a culture of role modelling and mentorship that encourages advocacy to enhance the profession of physiotherapy, recognize health disparities, and contribute to the health of society.
